Yes. We welcome both privately insured and non-insured patients. Care options and fees are discussed at the time of booking an appointment and surgery, so you can make an informed decision.
Consultation and surgical fees apply for non-insured patients.

Our staff always provides current fee information, along with Medicare rebates where applicable, when booking your appointment.
Consultation fees are comparable with other specialist practices in the region.
If additional procedures such as colposcopy or biopsy are required during your consultation, these may incur additional costs, which will be discussed with you at the time of booking appointment.

For any surgical procedure, we always provide a transparent and clear estimate of Dr. Joshi’s fees prior, so you can make an informed decision.
For privately insured patients, some surgeries are performed on a no-gap basis while some complex surgery fees are based on AMA rates.
For patients without private health insurance, a surgical fee estimate is provided prior to the surgery.

Urgent PC (PTNS) treatment is charged per session. Medicare rebates are available. Our team can explain the recommended treatment schedule, applicable item numbers, and expected out-of-pocket costs.

Dr Joshi operates at Maitland Private Hospital and Lingard Private Hospital. Occasionally she may operate at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital.

We request 24 hr notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer appointments to other patients who need to be seen.
For cancellations on the day or no-shows, we charge $100 cancellation fee.
